![]() Smoky Lake County is a rural community with a population of over 4,000. The region includes beautiful lakes and views along the North Saskatchewan River as well as being situated in an excellent location in relation to the Alberta's Industrial Heartland (15 min drive). This project includes an in-depth review of the County's main planning and development documents. We have worked closely and intensively with County administration and Council to ensure that these documents will accurately represent the ethos of the community specifically in relation to:

Town of Viking Land Use Bylaw and Municipal Development Plan Review |

![]() Viking is a vibrant community with a population of just over 1,000. The community boasts phenomenal health care services and is ideally situated along the future Ports to Plains trucking route. This Plan and Bylaw review project is in the early stages. The project will incorporate a land suitability analysis and public engagement tools to identify goals, objectives, policies and locations for future land uses within the community. The project will also include an extensive review of the Town's current Land Use Bylaw to ensure that the uses are current and reflect development pressures facing the community today. |
