Mapping

Many MPS projects include a variety of mapping work including:

• Land Suitability Assessment maps
• Opportunity and Constraint mapping
• Land Use Bylaw maps
• Future Development Concept maps
• Maps for public consultation and planning workshops

Municipalities are increasing their use of graphic information systems (GIS) technologies to assist in day-to-day land use planning and development operations. We utilize GIS data and technologies in our mapping work to ensure that as our clients increase their use of GIS in their day to day operations their land use planning information will be available to them in a spatial format.
